The Terminator: 40MW Phased Plasma Rifle by JonathanBluestone

Sent back in time to the year 1984 from the year 2029 a T-800 Model 101 Terminator has a very specific mission: to find a woman called Sarah Conner and kill her so that she cannot produce a child whom she will name John Conner via another time traveler, also from 2029 named Kyle Reese. During Reese's flashbacks to the time of the machines, we see T-800 model Terminators using 40MW phased plasma rifles (see above image). On arrival in 1984 the Terminator assigned to eliminate Sarah requests one of these weapons from a gun store before settling for much more conventional weaponry. I've included two versions as the weapon is depicted in model form and in photographs as dark, yet in the movies seems to be polished and have an alloy-like appearance.
